Good, Bad, Ugly and Absolutely Insipid Numbers

The GOOD ones:

---40%: the percentage of voters Tuesday who identify with Tea Party principles

---680: the number of career politicians who lost their jobs in state legislatures throughout the US Tuesday

---4%: the increase in the price of silver bullion TODAY. Congrats on being ready!!

---160: roughly the number US Navy warships

---1: The number of captains designated to run a naval vessel

---6 less: than what the Sports Talking Heads said the Cowboys would have won so far this season (sorry, couldn't help myself)




The BAD ones:

---in ONE Day the QE2 estimates jumped $400 Billion to a $trillion

--- 270: US Navy Admirals overseeing from who-knows where, the movements of 160 US Naval warships and their Captains

---1: reason why stocks, commodities, including gold and silver, are running wild today

---$45Billion: more to add to the "successful" Government Motors bail-out

---Still too many: the number of career politicians that didn't lose their jobs Tuesday



Absolutely UGLY ones:

---1: Government plans to nationalize your retirement accounts

---BILLIONS: dollars people in each state think they're getting from the Feds, when they're really stealing from each other with a big slice taken by the pols to keep themselves fluffed and in power

---20%: what they TELL you they're going to deflate the value of the dollar. Ha ha

---NEGLIGIBLE---the amount of US dollars you should have in your mattress

---2: the number of productive jobs each government employee costs (excluding military---the governments pay in reverse order of worthiness to the folks it takes the money from)

---$2 Billion---what you're being told the Prez' excursion to India will cost. Not including 34 war vessels as well as the other usual "oversights"

---MILLIONS: of lives lost to malaria because DDT is banned. These geniuses CARE.


Insipid ones:


---0: the number of Happy Meals you can buy in San Francisco, thanks to the focused, dedicated efforts of the Food Nazis. Can't wait to see what they'll spend their time, energy and resources on (and yours, if they can) next.

---Tens and Tens of thousands: the number of pages in the new Fed Tax code each year. Lawyerfare and Welfare for pencil pushers.

---Gazillions: the number of man-hours and resources spent on government mandated procedural, tax and legal compliance.

---Decades: of the productive life you, your family and loved ones won't live because of gazillions of insipid restrictions and re-routing of human endeavor by people posturing as "your" representatives.

---1: Number of Presidents Americans have put into office without knowing a damned thing about him.
