Dear Glenn,
---Your fans want it---
A simple, easy to read compilation of your predictions over the years that were originally ignored, , ridiculed, and that ultimately came true, to the benefit of those of us who paid heed. It would be validating for all of us.
It would speak "volumes" in one volume. No lengthy discourses. Just Chop, chop, chop, to the point. We'll all buy dozens for our ostrich friends with short attention spans and save ourselves a lot of trouble!!
Appreciatively,
Jack Greene

thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteI would have added that he drop the abortion subject. The 2 problems that I have with Glenn are his emotional crying spells. He is not being logical, he is letting his heart rule his head. My other concern is his preaching against abortion which is up to a woman or a woman and her husband to decide what to do if they have an unwanted pregnancy. If couples do not use birth control then by all means, get a legal abortion so that the couple's lives will not be impacted adversely by having kids they do not want or cannot afford to have. If Rand were alive, I often wonder what her views would be concerning the crying jags that Mr. Beck goes on. Does Mormonism ask their followers to lead with their hearts first? Just askin'.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the written response!! Without feedback, we lose direction and inspiration...
ReplyDeleteYour 2 concerns about Beck:
1. Issues, in this case abortion. There is something always to be said for purism, but when the house is on fire, we tend to be less selective about who's holding the water hose. Notice the strange bedfellows on the other side---all they have in common is mutual hatred for Jews and capitalism. That unites them even though later they will devour each other.
2. Blubbering. It only bothers me to the extent it distracts some folks from Beck's message, and gives his adversaries a means of anesthetizing future audiences.
Maybe someone with a working knowledge of Mormonism can be insightful about your query regarding responding from the heart vs. the head.
Again, thanks for the input!!
