The Prez' $2Billion Dollar Trip to India

Welcome to Independence Day at the Front Porch!! Ain't it great!!
Meanwhile the Prez, who sees people only in groups (young folks, black community, gay community, middle class folks Bible toters and gun clingers, ad nauseam) is taking a $200 million a day trip with some of his 'favorite' group for a 10 day stay in India.

If I'm doing the math right, that's $2Billion. Given how much he feels our financial pain on the home front, and he cares about AIDS victims in Africa, and worries if your kids are eating too many Happy Meals in 'food deserts, this must have been urgent? Oh I'm sure he could explain the priority that overrides these lesser presumed concerns. If he can get that damned teleprompter workin'.

Let's see. We stimulated the Turtle Tunnel industry, protected some little fishy somewhere while CA farmers went OOB since they're not smart enough to farm without water, and we did...we did...what the hell did we do in Iraq and Afghanistan...oh, I remember...Saved a boatload of cash by eliminating the extraordinary expense of getting the military absentee ballots. Yet, some of us don't appreciate Mr. Messiah. . Like John Lennon has been attributed as saying, "Genius is Pain."

Two freakin' billion dollars so he and an entourage of 540 can spend 10 days aboard 40 jets, travel locally in reassembled helicopters, and stay in a Five Star Hotel. Oh, and Michelle, on behalf of a struggling industry in the US, will be visiting the leaders of India's prostitution 'community' to bring back a few handy tips about how to get things done.

It's sad to think how many of us are so ungrateful for this man's leadership by example, sacrifices, and dedication to his principles. And he's SO smart....
