Bits 'n Pieces...Oh...and Impeaching the President

---First a handy-dandy little tool to use in conjunction with using "Why?" for persuasive conversation: If you haven't, see yesterday's Front Porch below. Sometimes you may feel uncomfortable coming out with the first "Why?" It may seem a bit in-yer-face, a bit inquisitional. The easy way to break the tension is to ask permission: "That's very interesting! May I ask a couple of questions?" Once given permission, you can then ask "Why?" and it won't feel confrontational. Works very well!!

---Don't forget the subset of other magic words: "What...?", "How...?", "When...?" can be used to keep the conversation headed in a constructive direction. The other key: LISTEN!!

---Re: impeaching the President. Some time ago I was concerned that too much focus was on ridding the US of it's President through the elective process, and mistakenly breathing a sigh of relief because that would "solve our problems." It's becoming apparent that we have 2 sets of problems:

1. There are the longer term problems having to do with 100 years of Progressivism erasing history, tipping morality upside down, economic ignorance fostered by the State educational system and state controlled media. These are the conditions that made an Obama possible.

2. However there are urgent immediate problems generated by the administration and its takeoever of every aspect of our lives, economy and civiliazation, and the impending ruin of everything we've taken for granted for too long. The overriding technique is an end-run around congress and other constitiutional restraints and establishing a dictatorship by edict. The appropriate metaphor is that our house is ablaze, and before we can address our waning bank account we have to get out to safety.

The fact is, the President is operating as though he knows his days are numbered and he's hell-bent to pull down America NOW. 2 more years is too much time. Getting rid of him, akin to extinguishing our house afire, won't undo the damge of the past 100 years, in particular the past 2 years. But from where I sit, there is no choice but to impeach...
